Round Table Racing is super excited to re-introduce our original driver for the upcoming season!

LUCAS BELBECK

Lucas is 17 years old and calls Wetaskiwin home. He is entering his fourth year of racing. He is starting his second year as a driver in the Thunder Car class at our home track, Edmonton International Raceway! 

Inspired by a love of cars and a desire to tackle a new challenge, Lucas decided to start racing in 2021. 

When he isn't dreaming about cars and racing, Lucas likes to spend his time fabricating and pulling wrenches on project vehicles, including his dream car: a 1990 Nissan 300ZX. He also likes to ski in the off-season. 

Lucas hopes these skills serve him well in the future; after graduating he plans to pursue a career in racing or mechanics, fabricating custom cars and race cars.

Lucas’s goals for the upcoming season is to put the top place trophy on his shelf and fine tune his skills in a V8 rear wheel drive car. 

RTR is grateful for the chance to work with young drivers such as Lucas, to help them elevate their racing IQ and hone their skills working on their own cars.
